I have many pairs of specs. I changed my spectacles annually.
For your information, I found that making a pair of spectacles in Skudai, Johore is much cheaper compare to Selangor. / Kuala Lumpur. Most probably this is due to competitive markets of University students there. In Skudai, an adult get to make a pair of glasses with lots of design choices and computer lens with just as little as RM 200. In Kuala Lumpur however, even moderate design children spectacles exceed that amount.

One of my friend's friend worked with MOG previously. My friend told me that MOG offer a quite reasonable price.
As far as I am concerned, their price is just average,not too high;not too low. The sales man that served me over there is not really generous in discount. So, be a smart consumer! Ask them for more discount, especially those who makes a few pair of glasses for their loves one. If you are free, why not going around, get the best quote for yourself since there is plenty of spectacles shop.
In terms of after sales services, MOG salesperson will just hand you over your spectacles. You then need to play around with your new spectacles and called upon them if you encounter any problems. Not like my previous shop, where the sales person will sit down with you and help you to adjust your specs making sure everything is in order before leaving you.

computer lens? there is a term for it?
I thought only multi-coated and high-vision coated lenses.
Ehm.....u sure its so cheap?
coz I'm wearing Charmant titanium frame (from Japan), there are certainly not cheap.....
Years back, they called it multi-coated, then later they say computer lens are kind of better. Correct me if Im wrong!
Mine got 30% discount.Hehe. Then I asked for more discount,since we are making a few pairs.
Actually you can get titanium frame with the price starting from Rm500 or even lower.
I guess the retailer obtain high margin for titanium frames actually. I have friends working in specs shops saying that the retail price can reach 1000% of their cost in some special event. Just imagine for RM 500, you can get a very good Prince Titanium Squash racket.
well I guess that is "high-vision coated lense"?
Well my lense with UV + high vision coated already RM140....my face is big.....I need branded frame else it won't fit.
Charmant frame surely above RM100 for retail la.....

Ya, you're right. What I mean is that since you know the production cost of a racket is high, but we can get a branded titanium racket by Rm500, impossible getting a pair of specs with RM1k is called so cheap. Am I right?
